Smith & Tinker Infests Mobile Game Devices with Nanovor

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SEATTLE, WA – April 26, 2012  Smith & Tinker, the Seattle-based mobile game company, today announced the release of Nanovor, a collectible card style battle game available worldwide on the Apple App Store. Originally launched for the PC in fall 2009, Nanovor has been re-engineered specifically for touch-based mobile devices once again allowing players to collect, connect and battle.

Nanovor follows the story of science whiz Lucas Nelson who discovered a nanoscopic world inside his computer, populated by ancient, silicon-based monsters that live to fight and fight to live. Players prepare for battle by unlocking, collecting and evolving Nanovor. Each creature has varied strengths along with offensive and defensive attacks. After strategically constructing their teams, players can compete against computer-controlled Nanovor or battle opponents online all the while earning Nanocash which is used to boost attacks and purchase new creatures.

“The sustained interest from the Nanovor fan base has been amazing” said Joe Lawandus, CEO of Smith & Tinker. “It was their input that drove game design leveraging the awesome 3D creatures from Nanovor Evolution alongside the strategic play featured in our original PC release. The dialogue with our players, largely via social networks, played a huge role in our development resulting in a new, one of a kind collectible strategy game.”

Nanovor is a free to play universal application supporting all Apple mobile devices. The game features 24 different creatures at launch all with unique attacks and goo-filled battle animations. Players can share a single collection of Nanovor across all of their Apple mobile devices with iCloud and increase their ranking on Game Center leaderboards. In addition, fans can follow the adventures of Lucas Nelson with Nanovor: The Animated Series, available as a free weekly video podcast on iTunes. For more information, please visit the iTunes Store or www.nanovor.com.
